Talk:Voyages of the USS Angeles

I would much rather have this Voyages Of the USS Angeles entry completely deleted than have it currently listed full of unsupported wrong matters writen by 'MikeWazowski'. (This entry is a direct copy of the same erroneous entry taken from the Hidden Frontier encyclopedia that is full of mis-statements too.) I was a member of the angeles club and know first had about it's workings and I have tried to correct this entry from it's wrong information many times. The correct entry should be listed as- Voyages of the USS Angeles is a fan-made Star Trek series produced by members of the USS Angeles fan club in Southern California, and is the predecessor of the later fan series Star Trek: Hidden Frontier and other local RedShirt Filmette Series. The series was produced as a follow-up to the feature-length fan film, USS Angeles: The Price of Duty. The truth is that the videos were available in the past on VHS tape. The series was produced for its paid-up club members only. No copies are presently available either on the internet or any other media (e.g., VHS/DVD). The Angeles club did not want to tempt Paramount's lawyers, so they restricted the video to private home use only by club members and also the cast and crew involved in its production. That decision remains in effect today, so no Angeles episodes are available to the public at all. No reference to the show is even made on the club's web site, but past club members of the video production committee and past club mebers will have the true facts stated in this entry. Some footage from the Angeles series that was shot but never produced into the club's episodes was later reworked into the early episodes of Star Trek: Hidden Frontier. This is the fact of the situation. RedShirt Filmette Series Netwriter 00:20, 16 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
