I recently got a mailing from VoteVets (Sep 2019). I wanted to know more about VoteVets.org so came to Wiki. There seemed to be no additions to their Wiki page since 2011 or 2012. The mailing I got was asking for donations, and clearly they support progressive candidates and hope to defeat Trump and also flip the Senate. I'm interested in how effective they are and was looking for an objective description of this org., but as I said, there was no RECENT information on Wikipedia. Supporting Democratic candidates and causes

This seems pretty well documented that VoteVets generally supports Democratic candidates and their policy positions. Here a few documentations for this:

The conservative National Review notes that the advisory board members include:

Politico reported that VoteVets issue TV ads on climate change are:

MSNBC reported that VoteVets is "Democratic-allied":

MSNBC also noted that VoteVets' ads didn't attack Democrats:

VoteVets.org PAC in the 2008 elections

My edits regarding VoteVet's support of Barack Obama and active opposition to John McCain were well documented. Regardless of whether VoteVets endorsed Obama, they did publicly support Obama's plan for Iraq and actively opposed McCain's candidacy.

Factually, it makes sense to include both the official position of VoteVets (no endorsement), and the de facto position of VoteVets (support Obama and oppose McCain). I look forward to a debate on why the de facto position is not relevant to the article.--789so7isstuffed (talk) 15:37, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

Editing -Reference/Citation additions

you Just to try to keep things in a similar format for this article, I thought I would add the citation code that I used to create this article here (just copy, paste, and add available info when editing):

in the "news source name#" part, I've just been adding a number (1,2,3. . .)starting with 1 for the "#", in case there is more than one article from the same news source. Of course "ref name" doesn't have to be included, but if it is, when the user's cursor moves over the superscript note it will display the source. R. Baley 22:36, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

Spending funds
