Why did Volkan push Jan Koller in the Euro 2008 match edit

What did Jan Koller do to make Volkan mad? Always wanted to know. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.84.195.145 (talk) 20:16, 16 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Girlfriend edit

His girlfriend is Miss Belgium... We should remove this from the article. We don't know if they broke up or not, and it doesn't concern us. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.228.61.168 (talk) 08:29, 18 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Recent edits edit

I tried to contact the user through his/her talk page but didn't got a reply so I am moving my request from user's talk page to show my reason for reverting the user's edits: First of all, here is the link for the article that has "given" the nickname. As you can see it is from daily mirror a "tabloid" newspaper which even has a part in wikipedia for it's errors. They are also making fun of the country's name (Turkey) in the article. Nobody is going to put that into the Turkey article. Also, I don't think one newspaper's claim can be counted as "given a nickname". Especially when it is a tabloid newspaper like daily mirror. Hope this clairifes things. Thanks for taking the time to read my message. Rivaner (talk) 06:55, 27 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

How about telling the editor this instead of a template which doesn't explain anything. Also...try mentioning the fact that the article itself says: "We have since learnt 'The Bear' isn't actually his nickname but can be considered an insult in Turkey... Erm, sorry about that Turkey." In other words...the tabloid reference (which indeed should not be used to source facts) doesn't even support the claim. You were in the right to remove it.--Mark Miller (talk) 10:52, 27 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Mike Miller I already told that (but not the second part, so thanks for that) to the editor on his/her talk page. He/she didn't respond so I moved it here. Hope this clarifies things and also, thanks for your time and support.Rivaner (talk) 10:59, 27 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, just caught that. If the editor goes past the 3reverts report them to the edit warring noticeboard. Not sure what can be done here though if they refuse to discuss and have not crossed the brightline. --Mark Miller (talk) 11:07, 27 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
We will wait and see what happens, thanks.Rivaner (talk) 11:12, 27 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
