I assume the lyrics to this song are copyrighted. They are the property of an RIAA member, most likely (almost all Christian music is part of an RIAA label). Without some kind of permission to include the full lyrics (not just fair-use quotes), these sorts of pages will likely be deleted. Scott1329m 14:48, 3 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

That's not relevant to Wikipedia - the other site may have paid or otherwise gotten rights from ASCAP or BMI (whoever publishes the song) to reproduce the lyrics. Or not. But has the copyright holder of the song actually given explicit, written permission for lyrics to appear on Wikipedia? Normally all big-label Christian acts have their songs published by ASCAP or BMI - perhaps this group doesn't copyright its songs, but that's unlikely. I've never heard of Casting Crowns before, but I know that every Christian label I've ever heard of asserts its copyright on the songs. If you have the actual album the song appears on, publishing info for the song will appear somewhere. This isn't true, of course, for the lyrics to public domain hymns a modern act may record. NO. Lyrics are copyrighted and posting them on Wikipedia or linking to web sites containing lyrics is not allowed. This has been brought up many, many times in WP:VP/P and other pages. I've reverted the edit of my edit, please don't change it. Scott 01:00, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
