In October 2007, for his contribution to implementing reforms to Russian Railways’ rail transport development strategy, delivering constructive social policy and effective communication with the Russian Federal and local authorities, as well as with foreign railway administrations and international organizations, he was made a Russian Railways Honourable Railwayman.
