Tatlin was born in Moscow.

Please stop changing his place of birth. Tatlin was born in Moscow in 1885, and moved with his family to Kharkiv years later. These are just some of the many sources that state this:

Are you sure, the sources above are to be trusted? I dont have them (so I cant even check if they say what Gabsvillalobos claims they do) and all the sources I do have do say that he was born in Charkow/Kharkiv:

Why was it written "Russian and Ukrainian artist"?

His parents were both from Oryol, Russia. They were both Russians. Even if he was born in Kharkov, it was then part of the Russian Empire. There's literally nothing about him to call him "Ukrainian". 2A0D:6FC2:67D1:2400:F9D6:635C:3547:1D30 (talk) 22:51, 16 February 2024 (UTC)

And there was a large presence of Ukrainians that was scrubbed and destroyed. Many Ukrainians in South Western russia were killed during the Holodomor or russified.

That's original research and just fiction, there is no reference anywhere to him being Ukrainian.

As for learning Ukrainian songs, he picked them up while living in Kharkov. That part is documented.
