Does the subject satisfy association football notability? Have they played or coached at the fully professional level? Robert McClenon (talk) 18:09, 3 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello Robert. Thank you for your comment. Yes, he does. Vladimir Janković has coached in Serbian Superliga, Serbian First League, Cypriot First Division and Super League Greece, respectively. He also coached in UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask them. It appears that reasonable arguments can be made that he passes association football notability guidelines, and reasonable arguments can be made that he does not pass association football notability guidelines. I will probably accept this draft, because there is a better mechanism for obtaining consensus on notability in article space, namely, Articles for Deletion, than in draft space. Thank you, Robert. Looking forward to having a discussion and presenting my arguments. Kind regards --ElPolloLoco5 (talk) 15:49, 4 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello All,

I am not sure if this is supposed to go here, but I couldn't get any help in live chat so I am creating a talk page about this article. If this is not the right address for this topic please advise where should it move to. As I was told by the editor who moved this article here, we should discuss the notability of the article itself as there are as there are both acceptable arguments that it passes notability and acceptable arguments that it doesn't. I would like to begin by stating that Vladimir Janković is a professional football (soccer) coach from Serbia who coached in following professional leagues:

- Serbian SuperLiga - Serbian First League - Cypriot First Division - Super League Greece

He also coached in UEFA Champions League for two seasons, UEFA Europa League and Serbian League Belgrade. Furthermore, he achieved a historic success with Red Star Belgrade qualifying for UEFA Champions League twice in a row and UEFA Europa League beforehand. By doing so, Red Star Belgrade was the first team ever to reach these competition's group stages by starting from the first qualifying round. Additionally, they were was the first team ever to do so three years in a row. Important to mention as well, that the title in Serbian SuperLiga he won with Red Star Belgrade in 2018-19 was the 30th title of the club which gave them the right to pin a third star above the club's emblem. These were a historical triumphs for Serbian football. I am not paid to write this article nor am I connected to the subject, it is my honest opinion that the persons who made these historical successes should get the attention they deserve as is, to the best of my knowledge, the opinion of most of my compatriots and football professionals.

Thank You for reading this and participating in the discussion.
