Talk:Vivid dream

Latest comment: 7 years ago by Mr. bobby

"Vivid dreams" does NOT mean any dream, that is remembered. Not even the source (Footnote 1) does assert this. "Vivid" means "lively". The whole stub was without any sense. the term "vivid dream" is not used at all in literature. the kind of dreams, in which a dreamer is aware of dreaming, is called a "lucid dream".

The "discussion" lead to a redirect of the term "vivid dream" to lucid dream. This was of course not the result of this discussion, the majority voted for a deletion of the term. But an admin with no idea of psychological terms installed this redirection. Mr. bobby (talk) 11:44, 17 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

The webpage cited in reference number two (http://www.more.com/self/dreams/what-causes-vivid-dreams), which is intended to substantiate the claim that "the dreams can be detailed and are often caused by awakening during the dream," leads to a "page not found" error message on said website. Does anybody know a source that could substitute the outdated webpage currently cited here? Jonfinnie (talk) 16:17, 6 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
