158countries to 160countries update edit

Hi there,

There was a change (March 2nd) in the article

FROM As of 1 January 2018, Brazilian citizens had visa-free or visa on arrival access to 158 countries and territories, ranking the Brazilian passport 18th

TO As of 1 March 2018, Brazilian citizens had visa-free or visa on arrival access to 160 countries and territories, ranking the Brazilian passport 17th

But there was no changes in the map. So, the changes happened in which 2 countries? Could someone specify this, and please update the map as well?

Leandro Moreira, Thank you!

Hello,

The map seems to be up to date, since all the 160 countries and territories already show as either "visa-free" or "visa on arrival".
Thanks,

rank edit

Is the "2nd in Latin America" ranking really necessary? There is already a world ranking. One could easily re-classify as "4th in Americas... or 2 in South America, or 9th in the Western Hemisphere..." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:140:8000:D84F:F031:F80E:9FA7:30B9 (talk) 04:46, 20 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Comments edit

Mexico has suppressed visas for Brazilians, Russians and Ukrainians, you must update the maps of Russian, Ukrainian and Brazilian visa requirements here is the source from Mexican Immigration Services:

Incluir VOA no Mapa edit

Dear all,

Please include Visa on Arrival for:

Swaziland - 30 days (as per list, it is Visa Free, so dark blue please)! Tasmania - should be painted as electronic visa as it is also Australian territory! Bangladesh - is VOA Malawi - is VOA — Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.75.117.40 (talk) 21:51, 9 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

PR/USVI edit

Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands are part of the United States. They don't merit their own entries any more than Vermont. --108.45.56.173 (talk) 17:27, 6 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Not exactly, PR/USVI are not states, they are unincorporated territories.--Twofortnights (talk) 19:41, 6 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Armenia edit

Governments of Brazil and Armenia are exchanged statement about abolition of visa regime. Please correct the information. Կարեն Վարդանյան (talk) 16:17, 1 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Usually contracts of this kind have a clause that says they enter into force after for example 30 days following the exchange.--Twofortnights (talk) 18:55, 1 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Mozambique now has Visa on arrival edit

Moçambique HAS visa on arrival. Even though it does not say on theirs official websites, I just came in with a group of people from various nations, and we all got visa on arrival(me, as a Brazilian, as well).

The price depends on the currency. I paid 500rand(+-usd35), but had I paid in dollars it would be 50.

I just have my cellphone right now, and it's a pain to edit, someone please do it. Crivez (talk) 21:19, 20 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please read Wikipedia:Verifiability. Thank you.--Twofortnights (talk) 21:31, 20 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Israeli stamps edit

@BushelCandle +Twofortnights, the problem with the Israeli stamps us that them seem to target specific type of countries: East Asian/West Pacific [China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea (South), Philippines, San Marino, and Thailand], major historically-Catholic countries [Andorra, Brazil, France, Hungary, Mexico, Monaco, Poland, Portugal, and Spain], and some random set of countries [Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Norway, and Serbia]. It explicitly excludes most Anglophone countries except Australia and New Zealand, African countries, Carribean countries, and certain large countries such as India, Italy, and Russia. There seem to be an intrinsic reason why the editor is intent on forewarning people from these countries. That and the statement reamins unsourced which may equate to vandalism. Shhhhwwww!!
