Croatia edit

Article says Croatia is exempt, but it's still greyed out on the map. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.42.115.95 (talk) 07:56, 11 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

EU / EFTA edit

The article attempts to group EU/EFTA countries together thus resulting in a slew of exceptions and footnotes. I propose to break that up to a country level. At least, unmerge EFTA, that's not really relevant from the Canadian visa policy stand point. Concerns? --Truther2012 (talk) 15:20, 28 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

I cannot support a claim that EU citizens do not require a visa with a footnote for Bulgarian and Romanian citizens. They are citizens of the European Union as much as everyone else.

British Nationals edit

All British Nationals be it Citizens, Overseas, Overseas Territories, and Subjects without exception are exempt from visa. In my view, one Union Jack should be sufficient to declare that without the need to specify every territory. This will also allow to move away from simple copy and paste of the CIC page. Thoughts? --Truther2012 (talk) 15:25, 28 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Well it doesn't seem to be without exception - Information for British Passport Holders--Twofortnights (talk) 00:47, 17 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

eTA price edit

The NOPRICE policy says "An article should not include product pricing or availability information unless there is a source and a justified reason for the mention. Encyclopedic significance may be indicated if mainstream media sources (not just product reviews) provide commentary on these details instead of just passing mention.". Here there is a mainstream media source, and the justified reason to include it is the fact that it's been criticized because of a possible negative effect on tourism industry.--Twofortnights (talk) 20:41, 24 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Just because someone criticises something does not make it encyclopaedically-justified. The article mentions that there is a cost. To your point, that may drive away tourism. The actual amount carries no value. Particularly, when it is very likely to change. --Truther2012 (talk) 21:50, 24 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Non-citizen U.S. nationals edit

This page is unclear about non-citizen U.S. nationals, who hold U.S. passports. It says "The citizens of the following countries and territories are able to visit or transit through Canada with a valid passport and without obtaining a visa for a period of up to six months ... United States". However, non-citizen U.S. nationals are not "citizens" of the United States. Does that mean they require a visa? --50.193.52.113 (talk) 03:14, 9 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Probably not, almost all countries treat all US passport holders the same way.--Twofortnights (talk) 10:21, 9 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Visa exemptions table edit

@C-GAUN: Please explain how mobile devices require fancy shadows with round edges and split-up footnotes.    FDMS  4    03:42, 28 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

@FDMS4: Why don't you take a look for yourself buddy? If you do not use the shade-in area then the flags and the country names no longer align.

Also splitting up footnotes makes it easier to read, and you are cramming up three completely irreverent information under one footnote, which is confusing.C-GAUN (talk) 04:58, 28 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
