Perhaps there are other sources on stylistics, other than the owner's site? Neither the photos on the site, nor streetview shots show anything neogothic... looks stereotypical mediterranean, anti-gothic (upd: I admit that there are hints of Gothic in the corner turrets on the seaside facade, but these are isolated fragments that don't affect overall impression).

Another concern about their site is the mention of "medical tower"... seems like they saved on copyrighting and just filled it with buzzwords ("neogothic style, trendy then and now"... really?). Retired electrician (talk) 11:46, 12 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

This article does not cover the topic in a broad fashion as is expected by the GACR. It includes two sections: location and Pablo Picasso's stay in 1924. Location inexplicably contains information about the villa's architecture and style, as well as its history, but these areas are covered in such brevity that they're over almost before they begin. There is absolutely nothing of its history between 1924 and 2000 aside from noting that a villa across the street was demolished and a new building was built which is somehow attached to the Villa La Vigie. How was the new building joined to the Villa La Vigie if it was across the street? We don't find out. There's no history since the designation as historic in 2000.

Picasso's visit is the bulk of the article, and while that's interesting, it's not really about the Villa, but about Picasso. We've got information about people who didn't stay at the Villa with him, even. It's far too much weight compared to the scant information about the rest of the Villa. I'm sorry, but in its current state I think this must be a quickfail on criteria 3 (the lead is also far too short, but's far less significant than the breadth issue). ♠PMC(talk) 21:08, 2 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
