"Alleged bisexuality" of husband edit

I would like to know if the reference and page number given support everything in this sentence:

  • After 1889, the personal relationship between Victoria and Gustaf is considered to have been finished,in part, due to the alleged bisexuality of Gustaf.

In other words, who is alleging Crown Prince Gustaf's "bisexuality" already in 1889? The author Elgklou? And is that what that author asserts on page 161?. If not, what "is considered" due to the allegation should be removed as speculative and unsourced. SergeWoodzing (talk) 22:58, 19 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

I can confirm and verify this information in question and support that it is indeed from the reference and from this very page. This is indeed what the author Lars Elgklou states in the book, and is therefore acceptable to reference. Of course, if an information is referenced, even with a page number in a book as it is in this case, it is by no means unsourced and can never be deleted simply because of doubt. I trust no referenced information will be removed from the article. I am glad that this could be sorted out. I was happy to be of use to solve the problem. I'll get back to you when I have had time to check on Elgklou's reliability as a historian, which I have planned to investigate for some time now, given the huge and ever-increasing amount of his use as a reference in many WP articles. In any case the article text now reads as if he were a major authority, whom readers of English should know of, but there is nothing on Google that shows his as such.
