Should this article include links to the Wikipedia articles for the statues as opposed to the people they depict? Or, perhaps include a table that displays both? ---Another Believer (Talk) 15:51, 31 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Another Believer - Only 5 years late, I absolutely agree and have done so for Arthur Sullivan! KJP1 (talk) 11:45, 22 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Category?

Seem appropriate to create Category:Victoria Embankment Gardens? There are articles for quite a few of the statues and other memorials. @The Anome, Dthomsen8, and Ham II: Pinging past article contributors. ---Another Believer (Talk) 02:19, 9 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Another Believer: How about Category:Victoria Embankment, as that could also include the articles Victoria Embankment and List of public art on the Victoria Embankment? Ham II (talk) 05:54, 9 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
Yes. The latter suggestion sounds better to me. I'll create the category and add the articles now. -- The Anome (talk) 08:15, 9 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
Ham II, Thanks, both! --Another Believer (Talk) 12:13, 9 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

@The Anome: I should note, there may be other articles to add to the category than just the ones I mentioned above. I've only been to London once so I'm not very familiar with the official boundaries of Victoria Embankment. You and User:Ham II might check to see what pages should be added, and/or which memorials without existing articles should get new stubs. Thanks again! ---Another Believer (Talk) 12:15, 9 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

I've added Statue of Isambard Kingdom Brunel, Victoria Embankment, and wonder if these should be added as well (per the list of public art)?

@72: Thanks for adding Thames Embankment. Making you aware of this discussion for context, just in case, and hoping you might be able to add any other applicable articles to this new category. Thanks again! ---Another Believer (Talk) 12:51, 9 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the ping. Not sure whether HMS President (1918) would also be applicable -- it has moved, but was on the Victoria Embankment for many years. 72 (talk) 13:00, 9 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
