Lazy Wikipedians
editThis article is totally stolen from NNDB. Use archive.org if you don't believe me, Google is your friend. Do not remove this article until Mr. Wong's bio has been re-written or removed. Without solving the actual problem, you are making Wikipedia worse and setting Jimbo up for a lawsuit. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.139.8.110 (talk • contribs)
First vs. Second Generation
editUmmm... to whomever reverted my edit back to "first-generation": you're using incorrect terminology. First-Generation means an immigrant. Victor was born in San Francisco. His parents were immigrants which makes him second-generation.
Date of Birth
editThe Social Security Death Index shows that Wong was born on 31 July 1927. This article, along with IMDB.com, shows it as 30 July 1927. Is there a way to confirm one way or another? I am hesitant to edit the article w/o further verification. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kfranco (talk • contribs) 05:11, 10 May 2007 (UTC).
Death
editHe died one day after 9/11 - It should either be noted that is significant if it is, or that it is coincidental if it is not. For instance, did he jsut happen to be in New York at time? What was the cause of his death? Timeroot (talk) 02:45, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
- A lot of people die everyday. If there is nothing significant to say about it, then no comment needs to be made.--MartinezMD (talk) 19:07, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
- Okay, true... I was just asking, since it definitely was possible. Timeroot (talk) 02:49, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
- I read a news story that recounted Victor Wongs reaction to 9/11 is was quite interesting and telling, although I do not remember his exact words. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.68.96.189 (talk) 15:39, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
