I tried, using JapaneseBaseball.com and Jim Albright's information, but could not definitively track down the actual names of the teams which Starffin played for. I could find no information on his 1946 team ("the Pacific"), and am not at all certain if the Takahashi Unions were called the "Stars" in Starffin's day, or if the Stars were an earlier team that then merged with the Unions...
