Authorship
editI am the author of the Facebook group text that has been modified for use here. I would ask that this page not be deleted again. I work on Vic's campaign and am full authorized to use this text. Harlanh001 (talk) 16:57, 1 June 2010 (UTC)harlanh001
- Sounds like a WP:Conflict of interest to me. Wikipedia isn't meant to be a billboard for others' advertising, commercial, professional or cause-driven. This policy clashes with the practical difficulty that those with the most knowledge and interest in putting out information about relatively-unknown things and people often have strong reasons to support or oppose the subject. But that's why there's a policy, worked out through years of passionate discussion. On the other hand, most of the article's text is pretty factual, although a hypothetical opponent on the Charleston City Council might write the last section differently. —— Shakescene (talk) 19:06, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
Harlan001 Why don't you mention the results of the election or the challenge to the results? Paragoalie (talk) 21:01, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
