They can get bigger than one meter edit

Although the main article says that "They may grow up to a metre in total length", I have personally seen a much longer Venus girdle: it was between two and three meters long.

I was scuba diving about 3 miles (4.8 km) off the Kona coast of Hawaii (Big Island), on February 7, 2020. The water depth there was about 5,200 feet (1,600 m); our dive group was tethered to the dive boat, about 50 feet (15 m) down.

I obviously can't add this to the main article because it's original research, but I note it here in case anyone can find reliable-source documentation that they can grow larger than one meter. This article's current version of the article cites only one source. Based on the source's title, Pacific Coast Pelagic Invertebrates, it may not cover Hawaiian waters as well as the west coast of North America. — Steve98052 (talk) 18:25, 20 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
