Talk:Veith House

Latest comment: 15 years ago by RHaworth

Veith House is one of the most significant buildings in post-explosion Halifax. It's story is one of the most tragic stories of loss during the Halifax Explosion. Veith House is filled with local lore of ghostly sightings, it is well documented, with over 200 newspaper articles to that effect in 60 years. It was also home for hundreds of children for over five decades.

This entry is to inform, immortalise and also to repatriate some of the building's lost history.

This entry is not spam, it wil be cleaned up, but please, we had to start somewhere. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.7.242.61 (talkcontribs)

  • Please always log in before editing. It may seem the wrong way round but I feel that as a description of a neighbourhood community centre , the article would be deleted as "non-notable local group". However if the building is on the Canadian equivalent of the NRHP then as a description of a building, the article would probably survive. — RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 21:01, 23 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
