Casting of Varga charts edit
In the book titled "New Tecniques of Predicton" by Mr Seshadri Iyer, the methodlogy for casting of the various varga charts and their specific results have been explained. Also, in the same book it is mentioned that Exadasamasa (11th varga) is supposed to connote easy income and unearned income and not death. 11th house is supposed to be upachhaya house and how can it give death? During my 43 years of using these charts in predicitons, I have found the results to be mostly correct, provided the horoscopes are cast with Lahiri Ayanamsa.
There is another mathematical method adopted for casting varga charts. In this method the varga chart is cast by multiplying the longitude of the planets and lagna by the varga number and then casting the chart for that varga after reducing the muliplicant to less than 360 degrees.
