  • ... that "if Valerian Rybar did not exist, he could never have been invented"? Source: "If Valerian Rybar did not exist, he could never have been invented."([1]
    • ALT1:... that Valerian Rybar, the "world's most expensive decorator", had 40 seasonal suits, all beige, and spent 18 months designing "the luxury party of the century"?
    • ALT2:... that interior designer Valerian Rybar's dining room was lined with 400 fake books all with titles about episodes in his life, including "International Boredom", about his ex-wife?

  •   Thank you for this article. As far as I can tell, the topic is somewhat underrepresented on Wikipedia. The article is new and long enough. Inline citations abound. I detect no bias or close paraphrasing though there may be just a bit more quotes than I like to see. I wish there was more about his career; I do not think five sentences do it justice. There is twice as much written about his personal life. The hooks are cited but the original one is somehow bland while ALT1 combines two unrelated factoids. I would go with ALT2 but also describe Rybar as an interior designer as that is what makes the design of his dining room relevant. Still waiting for the QPQ. •   It has been over three weeks since the review, and a month since the article was nominated, and despite a talk-page ping, no QPQ has been forthcoming. It is past time to supply one, if this nomination is to remain open. Thank you. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:24, 19 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
