Talk:Valentyn Silvestrov

Can the English spelling of the composer's surname be discussed, please? Sylvestrov or Silvestrov. edit

I notice the spelling seems to be the latter on most CDs of the composer.

"In 1974, under pressure to conform to both official precepts of socialist realism and fashionable modernism, and likewise to apologise for his walkout from a composers' meeting to protest the Soviet Union invasion of Czechoslovakia"where did this come from and where does the Czechoslovak invasion come from if it was in 1968, and here 1974 is described Цйфыву (talk) 18:46, 6 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
