Untitled edit

I was confused by this line: "Expression studies in yeast and mammalian cells indicate that this protein interacts directly with VPS35, which serves as the core of the retromer complex." This suggests VPS35 interacts with VSP35. Should this mean VPS35 interacts with VPS26? I think this might have just been misedited when transferring from the VPS26 page which has an identical line.

VPS26 page: "Expression studies in yeast and mammalian cells indicate that this protein interacts directly with VPS35, which serves as the core of the retromer complex. " — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.112.71.135 (talk) 02:34, 13 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi! I am editing this article as part of a course assignment. Over the last decade, there has been major evidence of VPS35 mutation in Parkinson's Disease and other neurodegenerative pathologies. I think this page can be updated significantly to reflect the current literature. I plan on detailing some more of the structural and functional components of VPS35 and adding new sections related to neuropathology. Cheers! --Jlibera1 (talk) 19:33, 8 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
