Problems
editThis article sits at an uneasy crossroad with the title being "VEX prefix" but having "REX prefix" redirect to it.
Ideally, there would be a decision whether it's more desirable to have
- an all-encompassing "x86 instruction encoding"/"x86 instruction extensions"/"x86 instruction prefixes" article that also subsumes the separate "EVEX prefix" article, or
- multiple articles for each individual x86 prefix, such that "REX prefix" would be split from the "VEX prefix" article (though I have no idea what to do with REX2 ...)
