Renaming Article edit

Given that Urthboy's real name is Tim Levinson the article should be renamed to Tim Levinson.Danarndt (talk) 04:38, 18 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Not so. Per Wikipedia:Article titles#Common names, "Wikipedia does not necessarily use the subjects's 'official' name as an article title; it prefers to use the name that is most frequently used to refer to the subject in English-language reliable sources."
Propose to revert to Urthboy with a redirect from Tim Levinson. sroc (talk) 21:10, 17 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
I am backing sroc's suggestion, but have not undertaken a redirect before, so am happy for anyone to complete the process if there is consensus.--Soulparadox (talk) 17:03, 18 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
In the absence of any dissenting comments, I will move the page now. sroc (talk) 03:05, 28 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
BTW, most of the links to the article were to Urthboy, not Tim Levinson, which supports the view that Urthboy is the more common name. There's hardly any cleanup in editing links from other articles, either. sroc (talk) 03:42, 28 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page edit

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:

Triggered by \b[_\-0-9a-z]+\.onion\b on the local blacklist

"Urthboy" heading edit

Soulparadox's recent [1] resulted in there being a heading "Urthboy" in the article (Urthboy#Urthboy).

Per MOS:HEAD: "Headings should not refer redundantly to the subject of the article, or to higher-level headings, unless doing so is shorter or clearer."

Is there a better way of expressing this? "Solo career", perhaps? sroc 💬 00:47, 16 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the heads-up! "Solo career" sounds perfect—I will change it now.--Soulparadox (talk) 01:07, 16 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

External links modified edit

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Urthboy. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
