Revising Instead of Reverting

edit

The history for this article contains a bunch of reverting of what appears to be good faith contributions to very bare article. These reverts are for simply "unsourced". Reviewing the content, it appears that the content is appropriate for Wikipedia. Instead of always reverting, it would be more constructive to make revisions by adding sources. I have tried to add some sources. I encourage others to do the same instead of just reverting good faith contributions. Cheers, Neutiquam (talk) 19:09, 16 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

See WP:BURDEN. If you want to re-add unsourced content, on any article, the burden is with YOU to find the sources. Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 19:15, 16 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
Fair enough. Not all of the content that was removed was unsourced, so the blanket revisions seem heavy handed. Cheers, Neutiquam (talk) 19:20, 16 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
And more seriously, the text was copied word-for-word from here (or the Sports Reference site). You have to write it in your own words, not post text stolen verbatim from another site. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 19:25, 16 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
The text was not stolen verbatim. For some reason, you do not like contributions to pages that you create. You have now removed most of what was contributed despite citations being added. This doesn't make sense. Cheers, Neutiquam (talk) 19:30, 16 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
Yes, it was. I've removed/reworded most of it as the text was stolen verbatim from another site. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 19:38, 16 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
There were a few sentences that whomever contributed were verbatim, however, you've also removed sourced information. I added this information back in, in my own words, with sources. Cheers, Neutiquam (talk) 20:16, 16 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
