Proposed merger from Ural State University edit

Since this is the new name of an old institution and rightly contains a lot of the history, I believe these articles should be merged. -Lenin1991 (talk) 20:20, 15 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • Ural State University legaly is a part of new Ural Federal University. UrFU is union of USTU and USU. USU and USTU have the identical history, because USTU was established such a part of USU. Then USTU was divided from USU. Since 1934 they had been two different universities. In 2010 they was merged to UrFU by the Russian federation's president's decree #1172 from 21.10.2010.
