- well, the Egyptians were certainly not Norse (or Greek), but from the illustrations it is clear that they have lighter skin than their Nubian slaves. Anyway, this would be disputed at best, and it's inappropriate to speak of fallacies in this case. I couldn't find the link promised in the claim, so I erased reference to it, but I kept the attribution of the hypothesis to Champollion even though I didn't verify that. dab (ᛏ) 08:59, 16 Mar 2005 (UTC)
