Reason for contesting speedy deletion: The topic appears legitimate and the article deserves wider consideration. Fg2 (talk) 06:58, 30 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Since you're not the author, you could have just removed the tag - I did it for you. --Philosopher Let us reason together.

OK, you have found the term on the web. But you have made no attempt to explain what it means. I note that its use has just disappeared from the Beijing National Stadium article. I suspect that it is in fact a mis-translation from Chinese and that the concept is already discussed here under a different name. I have placed requests for elucidation in talk:steel, talk:weathering steel and this requested articles list. — RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 18:21, 30 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
You're probably right about mistranslation. It's good to get an explanation in the article on steel. The term is widely used on the web, mostly in conjunction with the stadium, and some sites have links or references to Wikipedia, so having an explanation in an easy-to-find place will be good for readers who come in that way.
