In accordance with wikipedia policy and following the examples established by Catholic University of Leuven (Université catholique de Louvain (French), and Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Dutch)) and Free University of Brussels (Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Dutch) and Université Libre de Bruxelles (French)), strong consensus was established to maintain both Albanian and Serbian names for split universities with third article for pre-split historical university.

Adding POV to the page: The name of the University is controversial. UNMIK recognizes it as "University in Mitrovica". I propose move to University in Mitrovica or University of Kosovska Mitrovica. --Rrallepermall (talk) 20:11, 12 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

POV Tag on the page. The whole Serbian population of Northern Mitrovica is less than the claimed number of students. The number of students must be overestimated, as it's claimed to be over 10,000. --Rrallepermall (talk) 20:28, 12 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
