Any volunteer to write a better article?

edit

Rather than focusing on the geographical elements of the institution, it would probably be better to focus on it at an educational level

I agree. It's only a description of the campus; and a rather dull one. Is there any graduate or anybody with some knowledge of this university to put some more relevant information, perhaps quoting the webpage? Any famous alumni, are they any? Donnerstag 20:05, 8 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
I am a post-graduate student in the Univeristy of Patras and very eager to write a better article, both in the English and Greek Wikipedia. But it will have to take one or two more people interested in it to make a good article. dead3y3 08:53, 28 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
Yo I'm in to that idea too. I'm a student there too... I've put the pic of the library and I want to take more pics and write more stuff... Iaberis 01:58, 24 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

What the heck is this sentence doing in the History-section "It was established primarily with the intention to concentrate on science, technology, economics, business administration and social sciences, all in an effort to achieve the greatest possible achievement in Greece, which is personal welfare at the expense of the society through political corruption."? I don't think an encyclopedia is the right place for sarcasm... Has anybody workes on this article already? I don't know the original article and probably it's already much better, but the introduction is still mainly a geographical description of the campus... 85.179.153.192 (talk) 10:49, 11 March 2009 (UTC) JadzaniaReply

ok, I should have read the whole article first. I highly appreciate criticism of the way things work at a university and/or in a society - that's necessary in order to put up a counterweight against the colourful, cheerful self-presentation of universities. But that does not belong in the general history section! For someone like me, who does not know the history of the uni, it is extremely frustrating to read extremely general criticism of the greek society as a whole, when I want to have specific information about one university. 85.179.153.192 (talk) 10:57, 11 March 2009 (UTC) Jadzania againReply

research isn't

edit

``Even though research is being held in the University no significant results derive from it I laughed when I read it. Actually it is so ridiculous that I don't have to prove myself. Galanom (talk) 03:04, 14 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
