Historical context edit
This article is in desperate need of some historical context. It only covers the last eight years or so. When did foreign military financing start? When did it get an official line item in the budget? How has the amount changed historically? etc etc etc. Bookgrrl holler/lookee here 14:05, 29 April 2016 (UTC)

- Oppose merge on the grounds that the scope of the articles is different. United States military aid is the broader topic, and is an overview of the funding, which can occur through 3 different streams, of which United States Foreign Military Financing (the FMF program) is only one.
