US/Pedro Carmona Government inconsitency

"Foreign policy of Hugo Chávez" claims that the US government did not recognise Pedro Carmonas government, while "United States-Venezuela relations" claims that it did. Abaharaki 23:17, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

The Venezuelan coup attempt of 2002 states the U.S. "acknowledged the de facto Carmona government." After reading the source, a State Department press release, April 12, that phrasing seems more accurate. We recognized that Chavez wasn't president, but never explicitly said Carmona was. Deletion of AP article

An Associated Press article continues to be deleted from this page, "Venezuela's Chavez Says United States Must Explain Reaction To Coup", citing WP:RS. If the Associated Press is not a reliable source, what is? Travb (talk) 23:46, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

Word Pendejo

What about the other 2/3 of the 20th century?

Right now, the article's got one section covering the first couple decades of the 20th century, and another section covering everything from Chavez's election onward, but there's a huge gap between 1935 and 1998. Sick of fixing copyright violations and mangled English added by incompetent IP hopper

I am sick to death of fixing copyright violations and mangled English added to the article by an incompetent IP hopper from Venezuela whose editing seems to consist almost entirely of adding material copied from other Wikipedia articles or plagiarized from elsewhere. This editor shows no respect for WP policies or recommended practice, and obstinately refuses to conform to them. It is beyond me why other editors are so tolerant of his abuse, and enable him to blithely carry on. Carlstak (talk) 18:18, 26 February 2017 (UTC)
