The articles World Assemblies of God Fellowship, Religion in the Netherlands and Peter Sleebos now link to this article and I have added it to some relevant categories. Perhaps the article does no longer have to be considered as 'orphaned'? --Jonathan van Tongeren (talk) 13:49, 17 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

The translation of "Evangelie" in Verenigde Pinkster- en Evangelie Gemeenten is quite wrong, both for linguistic and conceptual reasons. Although the Dutch word "evangelie" sounds a lot like "evangelisch", in English the two words "gospel" and "evangelical" are quite different concepts. In the Dutch name of the denomination, "Evangelie" refers to "Volle Evangelie Gemeenten", one of the two denominations that merged into the VPE in 2002. In English, "Volle Evangelie Gemeente" is known as Full Gospel Church. An Evangelical Church in the English speaking world is a much broader designator, which could cause some confusion.
