Arthur wheeler created UDS at Charterhouse, left under a cloud, then bought Henry Glave (can't find when) and Henry Glave purchased UDS (can't find exactly how), and when he went bust could not find anything other than an asset being looked at being sold. Glaves closed in 1936, but can't see anything else.Davidstewartharvey (talk) 11:54, 5 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
Found it eventually! Eagle Star took ownership. Not sure if and when they disposed of the business but Eagle Star chairman Sir Mountain was still chairman of UDS in 1959.Davidstewartharvey (talk) 18:06, 5 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
