Myth? edit

Myth: Unionville in located in Chester County, Pennsylvania. It is NOT located in Centre County. I know, because I live near Unionville.

Fact: Actually, there are multiple Unionvilles in Pennsylvania. The borough Unionville, Centre County, is the one being discussed in this Wiki article, based on the census data. Unionville in Chester County is NOT a true municipality, rather a reference to parts of East Marlborough Township, PA and Newlin Township, PA.

Reversion and New Page Made edit

I reverted this content to the borough of Unionville in Centre County, Pennsylvania article. I also moved the article on the village (which had replaced the information on the borough of Unionville in Centre County, Pennsylvania) to a new page: Unionville, Chester County, Pennsylvania. Incorporated communities (the borough) recognized by the US Census are given a higher priority in naming articles than unincorporated villages, so the name "Unionville, Pennsylvania" belongs to the borough article, not the village. I also put disambiguation links here and at the other page (which I reverted) and will fix the link on the Centre County article. Ruhrfisch 01:33, 7 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Post Office question edit

Question and reply left in the article moved here: "SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN to me why Unionville is sometimes and the Post Office is always called Flemming. It IS Unionville Borough, so what is Flemming??? Flemmington is a place in between Mill Hall and Lock Haven."

I looked up Unionville, PA on the Post Office web page here, ZIP code is 19375 so this seems to be the one in Chester County [1]. I tried, but there was no "Flemming, PA" there, although there is a Fleming, PA with a very different zip code (16835, so not close). Flemington, PA is 17745.
