- To editor Elsquared: yes, all sources have her given name as "Una". Some sources give "Kohnfelder" as her surname at birth, and some other-language Wikipedias include that in her articles; however, that name is not included here because none of the sources we've seen appear to be "reliable" by en-wiki's standards. Her father's surname was "Merkel" and her mother's surname before she married her father was "Phares", so there seems to be a lot of confusion out there and no reliable sources weighing in.
