PROBLEM
editOn every single page that talks about something that has not been released(icluding this one, Ultra Beatdown), it says 'released' instead of 'release' or 'release date'. Released doesn't make sense if you're talking about something that hasn't happened yet(duhhh). When I tried to correct the error, it ends up taking away the word I replace 'released' with, and the date of the release. go to these pages of yet-to-be-released albums and try to correct the problem (it's not gonna work) Before I Self Destruct, King Mathers, Crunk Rock. Respond to me if no how to fix teh problem, or why the problem occurs. Xosder43 (talk) 00:52, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
- I'm seeing that problem too. My guess is that the script behind this is soley scripted to list the word "Released" and nothing else. 71.162.37.102 (talk) 20:40, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
Video Game Sounds
editUnlike the previous album [Inhuman Rampage|Inhuman Rampage] this album contains less video game sounds. So far though I could recognize the Motorbike noise (which I don't think is a video game sound) and a bit of the Mute City theme in Inside the Winter Storm (4:44-4:46). What do you think? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.97.127.75 (talk) 13:42, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
What about at the end of Scars of Yesterday. Donkey Kong and Asteroids. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.255.62.9 (talk) 23:51, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
Leak dates
editHow does Wikipedia feel about posting leak-dates on the album pages? I am against it as I feel it only promotes copyright infringement (people know when it leaks and where to look). I removed the edit on these grounds. If I am in the wrong, feel free to revert. —Preceding unsigned comment added by XZeddx (talk • contribs) 10:24, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
- The only stance that Wikipedia takes on copyright infringement is that it personally does not participate in it. Publishing the leak date is fine, the line is only crossed when you publish the copyrighted material itself. cacophony ◄► 23:13, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
- Leak dates should only be noted if anything notable happened because of it, like a legal case or a press statement, otherwise its just un-sourced (or dubiously sourced) trivia. — Balthazar (T|C) 12:35, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

Allmusic Review
editThe page at the moment is acting kinda screwy because the review keeps on disappearing and reappearing. I made some print screens in case it leaked and they take it off completely or if it doesn't show up when you check. The DragonForce discography page and the Allmusic main page aren't updated for the album review either. When it officially shows up I'll delete this. It is unlikely anyone will see this anyway. Mistyped as __
editIn the track listings, many are put down as "Mistyped as __9 On CD version" There is not actually a mistype, there is a little part sticking out the back to make it a four. When my brother got the CD yesterday (we're in Australia), he remarked along the lines of "Wow, these 4s look a lot like 9s". They aren't mistyped is my point, so whoever wants to can edit or you can wait until you can get a copy yourself. kami.inu (talk) 08:08, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
- I agree, it's just the font (Westminster, I believe?) that makes it look like that. Scy1192 (talk) 02:08, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
Shortest DF song ever?
edit"Strike of the Ninja" is actually a COVER of Sam and ZP's side project Shadow Warriors. it's not actually a DF song... shouldn't this be sited? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.169.187.83 (talk) 02:29, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- Well... IT'S a DragonForce song now. But I think it should be noted that it's a remake of "Feel The Fire" from "Shadow Warriors". Unknown (talk) 18:20, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- I think we need a reliable source before we can add this. Scy1192 (talk) 07:10, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
- We have one. Guitar World magazine, November 2008 issue, interview with Herman and Sam. Herman says "It's not even our own song! It's a COVER!" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.169.187.83 (talk) 18:59, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
- I think we need a reliable source before we can add this. Scy1192 (talk) 07:10, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
maybe we should also note that ZP refused to sing it at first because "the lyrics are stupid." it's in November's Guitar World if we need a source. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.169.187.83 (talk) 00:10, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
myspace.com/shadowwarriors
Proof that Shadow Warriors originally wrote it. The DF version is more "filled-out" I guess you could say, but it is still a cover. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.255.62.9 (talk) 23:53, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
- Technically, Sam DID write the song, although as a part of Shadow Warriors at the time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 116.12.228.194 (talk) 07:42, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
Possible genre to add to the page?
editWould it be justified to add Prog Metal to the genre description, along with Power Metal?
I believe that this album has far more progressive elements than previous DragonForce installments, such as a lot of unexpected tempo changes, ambient solos and generally more varied song structure. Anyone agree with me here? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Drakodan (talk • contribs) 22:11, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
- I don't think Prog Metal really fits them, yet at least. I would say Power Metal is the best suitable genre and adding something like Prog just because there are some hints of progressive music would be unfounded. Nowdoug (talk) 01:22, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
tour dates
editAre the tour dates really relevant? This isn't a fansite or a site promoting the band, it's an encyclopedia and this information just doesn't seem important to me. 216.220.90.98 (talk) 15:18, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
