The current sources are not enough to satisfy WP:NBASIC or any of the more specific criteria. The two articles from Svenska Dagbladet are about specific books, and contain practically no biographical information. The press release from Åbo Akademi is WP:PRIMARY and does not count towards notability (in Finland such press releases are written for almost every PhD defence). The Libris listing is just a database. Note that the criteria for WP:NACADEMIC are quite high. I admit that I don't have a broad access to Swedish sources, so there might well be good sources out there. Jähmefyysikko (talk) 06:59, 5 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
The bibliography itself is enough, plus major media coverage of his work. The tagging editor (as per h palk page) is showing bias against this particular historian because of a just-don't-like thing on a preface Sundberg wrote. The tag should be removed, which I will do in a day or two unless a neutral editor or 2 object. Or the article should be taken to a deletion discussion forthwith. --SergeWoodzing (talk) 13:13, 5 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
I have removed the tag. Doing the WP:BEFORE, I found the following longer reviews of his books/thesis: [1][2][3]. I quoted NACADEMIC above, but the more relevant subject-specific notability guideline here is WP:NAUTHOR. The wording of NAUTHOR#3 is somewhat ambiguous, but how it is actually seems to be applied is that if a person has a good publishing record, he is notable. This is clearly the case here as indicated by the number of published books and their reviews. Jähmefyysikko (talk) 04:18, 6 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
