Sections edit

I think that all of the sections should be merged into one or two. For example, the Features Section should be combined with Locations and Reception, and put into sentence form. --Boguslav (talk) 01:06, 1 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Vows edit

Currently, the text in the Wedding Ceremony section reads: "The couple steps up on a rushnyk before they take their vows." Vows (i.e. the whole "to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer...") were not (and in many cases still are not) part of the church wedding ceremony (see Marriage vows on wikipedia). All of the Ukrainian Orthodox and Ukrainian Greek Catholic trebniks that I have ever seen do not contain these vows, or only have them as a footnote as something optional that can be inserted if the couple insists on them. There are, of course, other vows (e.g. "do you take this man...as your husband? I do."), but these, as well as the exchange of rings, take place at the back of the church, long before the couple ever steps on the rushnyk (which is at the front of the church in front of the tetrapodion.
