In the Disney version of the classic Cinderella tale, the two ugly step-sisters are named Drizella and Anastasia. Interestingly, in a Disney sequel to "Cinderella", the plot switches to Anastasia - who yearns to be loved and wants her own Prince Charming. Instead of Prince Charming, Anastsia meet a kind and sweet - if a bit chubby - young baker who falls in love with her. The evil step-mother disapproves of her seeing a man beneath her station in life, but Anastasia for once defies her which delights Cinderella. I have thus far found three articles that cover adaptations of these characters. None of these articles are that elaborate and perhaps if we merged them with this one we could get a GA on how the characters have been adaptated in different media? But they have no set names as their names change to accommodate the fashions of the times, and often they are named after media personalities, such as Posh and Becks, Jordan and Jodie after Jordan and Jodie Marsh, Trinny and Susannah, Kath and Kim and countless others. They are often named after flowers or diseases. It is quite popular to have them as tall/short and fat/thin opposites. Both sisters strive to claim the handsome Prince as their own and believe they will succeed through their apparent "beauty". Quite often they have a different costume in each scene. A common theme is to have them dress as fruit, vegetables or flowers.

There may be a place for some of this eventually when I can work out the context of it all - it seems to be referring mainly to pantomime, which does deserve a section.

I suggest we rename the article to Wicked Stepsisters or Evil Stepsisters. Ugly sisters is not common enough because they aren’t always ugly (The Cinderella 2015 movie, Once Upon a Time, Ever After, Into the Woods, A Cinderella Story, etc.) and they are almost always a stepsister not just a sister.
