Use of the term British Isles
editThis article uses the term British Isles (e.g. "from decommissioned U.S. Navy patrol plane squadrons in the British Isles") which as well as being controversial (see British Isles naming dispute) is in this case inaccurate as this would imply that the Ireland, a neutral country, was involved in the war. Can I suggest that the references be changed to the United Kingdom which would be a more accurate term. Please also be aware that this talk page is likely to get a visit from a SPA, with a lengthy block history and a very pro British Isles POV. Bjmullan (talk) 22:15, 6 March 2011 (UTC)
Armament
editPhoto shows two large guns in WW II era, but text box says one. Class of ship has two. Correction indicated?
