Iceland operations edit

you say nothing about her iceland operations in july to aug. 1953.we were with a fleet and held mock attacks as in maneuvers against surface craft. also i cannot find any pictures of the trigger as she was after commisioning and through april 1954 in drydock at portsmouth n.h. at the time i was discharged. i would like a picture as she was when i became a shipmate in 1952.

This is what you get when you plagiarize DANFS: a paean to Trigger, which says not 1 word about her lousy pancake diesels, which were so bad, Ned Beach risked court-martial by going on an open circuit to complain about them (as he recounts, at ironic third hand, in Cold is the Sea).
