Below is my review:

Just out of curiosity, the article mentions about the shakedown cruise of the destroyer. But no shakedown was mentioned in any of the other destroyers of the same class. What went special that it had to carry out shakedown? Or, why was it not carried out by other destroyers? It would be nice to provide a few comments about it. Other than that only one issue:

Thanks for all the reviews! As far as the shakedown cruise: my understanding is that it's a typical action for all new ships, and I would assume that the other five ships all undertook them as well. But the Dictionary of American Naval Fighting Ships (the main source for actions of the ships during their careers) does not mention them. — Bellhalla (talk) 12:43, 17 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
