We did not enter the Gulf in support of Desert Shield; we escorted the New Jersey as far as the Gulf of Oman. tomstar is right, this needs editing. I'm not perfect by a long shot. OTOH, I am now watching, so the defacer can just stay away.

photos that might be useful edit

any photos of the 1989-1991 period when she had lifelines on the bow instead of the hurricane bow might be useful. also the if we can get clearance for the commissioning poster and/or the bumpersticker might be useful. another useful photo would be a recent photo of the deckhouse, including the medals/decorations she's earned. I'm sorry, but a nice photo of the AFEM and Gulf war medals might be useful to prove how stupid the defacer really was. It really hurts finding out that what you thought was useful is completely forgotten in a matter of years :(
