Pirates get pwned edit

Who thinks we need to include this?

Rescue of American Women edit

1) the backstory of how the American women survived their 5 months at sea irrelevant to the service history or operations of the USS Ashland. If this story is a subject of interest, it should get its own wiki entry.

2) the story of how the American women survived is currently being investigated by the US coastguard, who is noting several inconsistencies. I strongly suggest that the accounts of these sailors are not treated as factual, until further investigation is completed. "Suspected" pirates edit

Do we really need to call them "suspected" pirates? They did get convicted of piracy in court, and their convictions were even upheld on appeal, so I would think that even under WP:BLPCRIME, we can still call them Pirates, without the "suspected" modifier.JMM12345 (talk) 17:39, 23 April 2022 (UTC)JMM12345Reply
