Negi, maternal or paternal grandfather edit

I do believe it's a rather important matter for fans of Negima if this information can be made available, as Touta's name is leading to wild speculations. That and it'd be a fairly important fact on his heritage. The Chinese wikipedia counterpart of this page claims that Negi is of the maternal side(specifically the word is different between grandson from a daughter and that of a son) but as I cannot read Japanese, I cannot confirm this either way but I assume source exist somewhere so I hope some Japanese speaker can look around for it. Thou thus far the rest of Touta's family tree remains a speculation, we can't even say for certain he is related to Konoka in anyway just because of the last name just yet.

It's hard to tell given that the manga only says grandfather in the early volumes. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 23:46, 19 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Closed 'Original Run' interval edit

As the series is ongoing, there shouldn't be an end date in the original run interval regardless of whether it's on hiatus or changing publication formats. The series has neither been finished, canceled, or left incomplete due to author death. 2607:FB90:219A:74FA:C507:D8C9:66C2:CC68 (talk) 18:55, 25 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

I removed the end date as it was unsourced. If a series by a well-known manga artist was canceled, then there would have been news coverage about it. —Farix (t | c) 20:25, 25 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Macrons on names edit

The English manga version uses macrons on many of the characters' names, so those will stay for the descriptions there. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 01:55, 5 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Member numbers and ranking edit

From what I have read so far, the member numbers do not imply any particular relative ranking, not like List of One-Punch Man characters, other than that ones that are part of Numbers are in their own tier compared to the assistants and populace. Are there later chapters that indicate characters are being promoted or demoted so as to get different numbers? AngusWOOF (barksniff) 23:44, 19 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Seems like one of those things that Akamatsu was going to use, but later took the story in a different direction. He may revisit the numbers later, but for now, they are merely trivia. —Farix (t | c) 12:02, 20 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Episodes as sources? edit

Since we can't find any other sources (i.e. cast listings) and the episodes closing credits give off the appropriate cast listings, should we use the episodes themselves as reliable sources? Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 00:25, 2 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
