Energy companies

I don't think that this page should be put under Energy companies. The company is just holdings of other companies although all of it's holdings are Electricity or Natural Gas related. Zerofire0 (talk) 20:23, 9 July 2011 (UTC)

• Against. I think the The United Illuminating Company is good as a separate article. It may naturally be developed to include more about the company's long history and other detail. The UIL Holdings Corporation article is naturally about a different topic, corresponding to the publicly traded security, of interest to investors. --doncram 17:53, 23 November 2011 (UTC)

As Edwardjcrowder is apparently aware, involved parties are indeed allowed to contribute on articles, but are encouraged to disclose their connection and to defer to other editors in some situations.
