Move?

edit

I disagree with the proposed move. The UCL Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience is an actual physical research institute under UCL, whereas UCL Neuroscience refers to a grouping of researchers dedicated to neuroscience in general but may span a wide range of departments and institutes in UCL. As such, the UCL Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience and UCL Neuroscience are related but distinct entities within UCL. Ariedartin JECJY Talk 06:13, 16 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

I agree with the above comment. UCL Neuroscience refers to the 400 principal investigators spread across numerous Divisions, Departments and Institutes at UCL. The UCL Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience is a specific grouping with UCL Neuroscience that is internationally known for its research in the specific area of cognitive neuroscience. I'm Director of the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience so can authoritatively state that it is a physically and intellectually distinct entity within UCL, nationally and internationally. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.168.0.246 (talk) 20:41, 21 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
