I would like to see historical information about US Route 97, like when was US 97 completed between Klamath Falls and Bend. A 1920 map I looked at showed no road between Klamath Falls and Bend. So, what year was it completed? That kind of information.71.35.33.10 20:40, 3 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Highway and Route designations

edit

The Dalles-California Highway 4 and US 97 use Bend Parkway. The old alignment is US 97 Business, signed at both ends. On US 97 north it is signed US 97 Business to US 20 east. US 97 Business south of US 20 is not a Highway, except for a bit at the south end, which is a spur of 4.

Central Oregon Highway 7 begins at US 97 Business and US 20 and heads east on US 20. That end of US 20 Business does not seem to be signed; US 97 Business is.

McKenzie-Bend Highway 17 begins at US 97 Business and US 20 and heads north and northwest on US 20/US 97 Business. The west end of US 20 Business is not signed.
