I believe that the description of the route of Route 20 in Berkshire County is not correct. The first paragraph begins by stating: "U.S. Route 20 begins its eastward trek crossing the New York state border into Pittsfield, Massachusetts, passing through the southern edge of the Pittsfield State Forest before entering town. US-20 leaves the forest and meets the northern end of Route 41." However, Pittsfield does not border New York State. The description of today's version of Pittsfield, Massachusetts states that the town borders Hancock to the west and Richmond to the southwest. Today's version of Hancock, Massachusetts states that U.S. Route 20 passes through the southern end of town, from Pittsfield to the New York state line. Confirmed, good catch. I changed it in the lead. Sswonk (talk) 18:23, 5 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
